Fight back, resist fascism here in this country! To the barricades, to the barricades!

Hello friends,

These are terrible days again in Germany and the world. Trump is a president who not only stirs up hatred against migrants, but also frightens people who come from the queer community. The first thing he said when he was sworn in again was that there are only two genders, man and woman. As if it wasn't bad enough that Trump is leading this agitation against minorities, there are also parties in Germany that are stirring up more and more hatred and agitation. These include parties such as the AFD, CDU and CSU, FDP and also the BSW, which are moving further and further to the right every day, making hatred and incitement to hatred part of everyday life. On the day of the 80th Holocaust commemoration at Auschwitz, a 99-year-old Holocaust survivor returned the Federal Cross of Merit on the same day. It is terrible that fascism is becoming part of everyday life again, especially in Germany. A country that has many queer people and people with a migration background, that they should be deported again by right-wing and conservative parties just because they are different. This is exactly the same game as in 1933. There was also the ‘influx limitation law’ that the CDU/CSU and the AFD introduced into the Bundestag debate on the 80th Holocaust memorial day, which fortunately was rejected by a majority of the SPD, Greens and Left parties on 31 January 2025. Otherwise, many minors in particular would no longer have the right to bring their mother or father here.
